As we await our upcoming shipment of True Criollo cacao from Peru (scheduled to arrive mid-late August 2024) we are thankful to offer you this short-term solution.
This beautiful cacao powder is a Peruvian criollo origin, certified fair trade and organic, and contains 20%/22% fat, and arrives to you in an unbranded 500 G resealable bag. Our previous cacao powder was an Ecuadorian arriba nacional, certified rainforest alliance and organic, and contained 10%/12% fat. The taste of the new powder is similar to the Ecuadorian, not bitter with a rich chocolate flavour, however the higher fat content makes for a creamier experience.

Suggested use: an ideal addition to smoothies & hot beverages (coffee, chaga tea, elixirs, hot chocolate etc.). Use in your cooking (great in chili) and baking (brownies, cakes, cookies, etc.), and various other desserts. You'll definitely want to try making your own dark chocolate by adding GY cacao butter to the powder, and sweeten with honey or maple syrup (or not)- it’s easier than you may think!
We'll leave you with this idea- create next level hot chocolate by adding our cacao powder to your milk of choice (our favourite is Cha's coconut milk), grating GY cacao butter and adding a sweetener of choice. To level up add GY maca and vanilla, GY medicinal mushroom extracts, herbs & spices of choice, maybe some mint essential oil, and voila, health in a mug!
