Shipping Policy - UPDATED

GIDDY YO SHIPPING POLICY

DOMESTIC

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products and they cannot be shipped to international destinations. Please also note that due to the delicate nature of our chocolate and the low melting point, we cannot guarantee any meltable goods when shipping during warm months or to locations experiencing high temps (all Chocolate, Cacao Butter, Cacao Paste, Love Butter), but also know that we try our best to get your goods to you in tip-top form!

We cover regular shipping costs on product orders of $100 CAD or more, after discounts and before taxes, to all parts of Canada excluding Territories and some rural areas where the shipping costs are excessive.  You will be contacted if the shipping quote we receive exceeds the amount we are able to pay on your behalf.

We do NOT cover shipping costs on special requests of overnight or courier services.

If your order falls below the ‘free shipping’ amount, our website will automatically calculate the shipping costs during checkout. We do not add a premium or any additional fees to what our shipping provider charges us.

When your order is prepared and ready to be shipped you will receive a shipment confirmation email which will contain shipment details, your tracking number and a link to track your package(s).

Giddy Yo relies on our customers to ensure the provided contact info and shipping address is accurate and complete before finalizing an order. Giddy Yo cannot modify or update address information nor redirect orders once your package(s) have left our warehouse.

IMPORTANT: It is the customer’s responsibility to collect their package in a timely manner to avoid any potential theft or damage due to heat, weather, wildlife etc. If your parcels are delivered to a neighbourhood drop box without protection from the sun, please be advised that these often get very hot which is not ideal for any of the goods we offer. We are not liable for any negligence on behalf of the receiving customer.

Disclaimer: Please be advised that all liquids in glass containers delivered through Canada Post may not be insured and are shipped at the risk of the recipient.

Orders made after 2:00 PM EST on weekdays and during the weekend will be shipped the following business day in most cases. Most Giddy Yo orders are delivered within 2-7 days depending on stock availability and shipping destination. Fulfillment & delivery times may vary, especially during sales and Canadian holidays.

INTERNATIONAL

All International Shipping options and costs will be determined according to weight, dimensions and destination at the time of check out.

All International orders are shipped via Canada Post. Any additional custom clearance fees, tariffs, and charges are the responsibility of the receiving customer. Giddy Yoyo (2016) Inc. absolves itself from delays in customs. Please note that all International and USA orders are final.

DAMAGED PRODUCT

We always do our best to ensure you receive your goods in tip top shape by using adequate protective packaging, however once your package(s) has left our warehouse we have no control over how it is treated. Any damage incurred during shipping, and not due to customer negligence, should be reported to Canada Post or courier immediately. Giddy Yo is not responsible for any shipping delays or damage due to inclement weather, package refusal, theft after delivery and/or if you provide us with the incorrect or incomplete delivery address.
