We have gone to great lengths to source premium cacao from the Vraem district, province of Cusco, Peru. The compilation of our beans is true Criollo, there is no CCN51 hybrid cacao present. Our cacao is hand-selected, fermented and dried to perfection, crushed into nibs, the skins removed or 'winnowed' and packaged for your enjoyment. Our cacao nibs are clean and pure, never treated with toxic chemicals, and is low temperature processed from start to finish to maximize quality and taste while maintaining nutritional integrity.
Food safety is of primary importance, and we are happy to share with you that our Peruvian partner holds the following certifications: Organic, Fair Trade, Kosher, HACCP, and BRC Certification. Further steps have been taken to ensure the cacao is non-irradiated and common allergen-free.

Suggested use: Create your own body care, handmade chocolate, desserts, or grate into hot beverages (coffee, chaga tea, elixirs, hot chocolate etc.). Use in your cooking (great for frying) and baking (brownies, cakes, cookies, etc.), and various other desserts. You'll definitely want to try making your own dark chocolate by adding GY cacao butter to our powder or paste and sweeten with honey or maple syrup (or not)- it’s easier than you may think!
