Buyer beware, all tallow is NOT created equal. LUMI's tallow is sourced from beef farmers with integrity, whom she personally knows. The cattle are pasture raised, grass fed & finished. LUMI uses only suet taken from around the kidneys and liver, and renders as many times as is necessary (a minimum of 3, and up to 7 times) to create a consistent and perfect tallow. Every ingredient is thoughtfully sourced, wildcrafted where possible, and always chosen with sustainability and care for the earth in mind. It's a labour of love, but we know it's worth it.
Painstakingly handcrafted with rendered beef suet and the herbal preparation is made from farm fresh, dried flowers grown on LUMI's property, in her personal garden and/or ethically sourced, infused in organic extra virgin olive oil, for at least six weeks.
