Notre maca est cultivée dans les hautes Andes péruviennes sur le plateau de Junin, jusqu'à 4 200 mètres d'altitude, ce qui en fait la culture la plus élevée sur Terre. Pendant plus de 3 000 ans, les peuples andins ont compté sur ce superaliment adaptogène pour l'énergie, la force et l'endurance, ainsi que pour ses propriétés réputées de soutien à la libido.
Membre de la famille des crucifères (aux côtés du brocoli, du chou et du radis), la maca est incroyablement polyvalente – traditionnellement consommée séchée, cuite au four, bouillie ou même fermentée en une boisson appelée maca chicha. Aujourd'hui, le peuple Quechua continue de la cultiver dans les mêmes conditions extrêmes – soleil intense et air raréfié – qui confèrent à la maca son caractère distinctif.
La maca GY est traitée à basse température pour préserver à la fois les nutriments et sa saveur naturellement douce, maltée-caramel, avec un goût terreux de caramel au beurre que nos clients adorent réellement. Au-delà de la saveur et des avantages mentionnés ci-dessus, elle fonctionne également magnifiquement comme émulsifiant, liant les graisses avec les amidons et les sucres dans n'importe quelle recette.

I've tried a lot of different maca, and I've found my favourite with Giddy Yo! It gives me energy and makes me feel balanced, and it tastes really good- i even add it to my baking and coffee!
I've been using this same product for years! It's gone into smoothies, all sorts of elixirs, and now it's comfortable in my hot chocolate drink as well as my coffee. Great energy boost and love the natural sweetness!

The quality and the price of the product are excellent.
Hi I used this maca powder before and that’s why I’m ordering more for one good friend.
However, this time I still hasn’t received my orders. I’m hoping this will be here soon, it has been more than 2 weeks. A little odd compare to my other order.

This is by far my favorite superfood! It truly gives you the energy and endurance needed throughout the day. I add it to my morning smoothies for the ultimate boost. I've tried other brands of maca and was really not pleased with the quality and taste but Giddy Yoyo maca is insanely delicious and is virtually tasteless when added to food! I've even added maca to my oatmeal and pasta sauces.
