Our maca is cultivated high in the Peruvian Andes on the Junin Plateau, at up to 14,000 feet- making it the highest-altitude crop on Earth. For over 3,000 years, Andean peoples have relied on this adaptogenic superfood for energy, strength, and endurance, as well as its renowned libido-supporting properties.
A member of the cruciferous family (alongside broccoli, cabbage, and radish), maca is incredibly versatile- traditionally eaten dried, baked, boiled, or even fermented into a drink called maca chichi. Today, the Quechua people continue to grow it in the same extreme conditions- intense sunlight and thin air- that give maca its distinctive character.
GY maca is low-temperature processed to preserve both nutrients and its naturally sweet, malty-caramel flavour, with an earthy, butterscotch-like taste that our customers genuinely love. Beyond flavour and the benefits noted above, it also works beautifully as an emulsifier, binding fats with starches and sugars in any recipe.

Adults eat 1 tsp. - 1 tablespoon daily. Use common sense caution when introducing ANY new food into your diet slowly working your way up to larger amounts.

I've tried a lot of different maca, and I've found my favourite with Giddy Yo! It gives me energy and makes me feel balanced, and it tastes really good- i even add it to my baking and coffee!

Hi I used this maca powder before and that’s why I’m ordering more for one good friend.
However, this time I still hasn’t received my orders. I’m hoping this will be here soon, it has been more than 2 weeks. A little odd compare to my other order.

This is by far my favorite superfood! It truly gives you the energy and endurance needed throughout the day. I add it to my morning smoothies for the ultimate boost. I've tried other brands of maca and was really not pleased with the quality and taste but Giddy Yoyo maca is insanely delicious and is virtually tasteless when added to food!
